Tusheti, called one of the 12 best places that you have never heard about by CNN... hidden deep in the Caucasus Mountains, villages hanging on steep, dizzying slopes, surrounded by lofty mountains... The area is 200 km from Tbilisi but you need half a day to reach there. The reason is the last eighty km, a dangerous mountain serpentine and one of the most scenic roads on earth, where you can at best drive at 30 km/ph. And the last segment of the ascent of Abano pass, the highest road in the Caucasus, is like riding in the clouds.

In this historic region isolated from the rest of the world and possessing a unique reality all of its own, you will bike from village to village, overcome mountain passes, cross fast-flowing mountain streams and explore mysterious Tush watchtowers.
